Booklet describes and explains the development of the Virginia Committee For Public Schools from three local committees to a Statewide organization of 25,000 members. Describes and explains the purpose of the committee to keep Public Schools open in Virginia in spite of the use of "massive resistance" against Court ordered desegregation of public schools. Recounts the work of the Committee chronologically and legally.
