Two newspaper clippings from the Journal and Guide, dated February 25, 1956. The first article describes a new bond issue in Loudon County, VA, that would improve schools but keep them segregated. The second is a political cartoon and editorial about a poll to be taken of Loudon County African-Americans by the Loudon County School Board on whether they want to desegregate their schools.
